Flower kale and frost

The flower kale shown on the photos have managed 20 degrees of frost. In fact hey have been deep-frozen for 5-6 weeks without any damage.

The buyers are always worried when we want to sell flower kale at the end of the year – because of "frost" we are told. However, the history and reality are a different matter. Flower kale is able to live through the winter even at hard frost. This is shown very clearly by these photos.

If the plants have been at the consumer at the time these photos was taken, the consumer could experience the spectacularly view of "living flower kale" when the snow disappeared.

In conclusion: Sell a lot of flower kale in October, November and December.

Flower kale can manage much and long periods with hard frost. Let these photos prove this statement.
