About Toftly

Description

The nursery Toftly is located in Stige in the middle of one of the largest nursery colonies in Denmark.
The company was established in 1985 and today it consists of a greenhouse section of 13,000 m² and a field section of 80,000 m² with production of pot plants.
We have a yearly production of about 3 million sales plants and a number of seedling and half finished plants for further production and sale.

Employees

The company employs today about 20 workers divided with 10 workers in each section.

Business idea

The nursery's business idea has always been to combining the growing of plants in the greenhouse and in the field. Hereby we achieve a big production with a limited use of energy for heating and lighting because a major part of the plants growth take place outdoors with the use of the natures own energy sources.

Sale

The nursery Toftlys production are sold through Danish wholesalers and pot plant exporters plus through Flora Holland.
